These terms govern your use of Food.com.mt, a Malta and Gozo food and drink directory. By using the service or creating an account, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
Food.com.mt helps people discover restaurants, bars, cafes, cafeterias and other places to eat or drink. Unless expressly stated, we do not own, operate, inspect or endorse listed venues. Information may be supplied by venue teams, users or public sources and can change without notice.
You must provide an email address you are entitled to use, keep access to it secure and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. We may restrict or close accounts used unlawfully or abusively.
If you submit a listing, correction, photograph or other content, you confirm it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, lawful, not misleading, and that you have the rights and authority needed to submit it. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt and display that content for operating and promoting the directory.
We may verify, edit, reject, unpublish or remove content at our discretion. Venue teams should contact us when important details change.
You must not scrape the service at scale, bypass security, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person or business, publish unlawful or deceptive content, harass others, misuse contact details, or use the directory in a way that infringes rights or disrupts the service.
Bookings, orders, payments and dining experiences are arrangements between you and the relevant venue or third-party provider. Check opening hours, prices, allergens, accessibility, availability and booking terms directly with the venue. Food.com.mt is not a party to those arrangements.
Directory labels are informational only and are not food-safety advice. If you have an allergy or dietary requirement, speak directly with the venue before ordering. Do not rely solely on directory information.
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every listing is complete, current or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, Food.com.mt is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the directory or dealings with a third party.
The Food.com.mt software, brand, design and original directory material are owned by or licensed to us. You may use the service for personal venue discovery but may not reproduce or commercialise substantial parts without permission.
We may change features or these terms, or suspend service for maintenance, security or legal reasons. Material term changes will be communicated where reasonably practical. These terms are governed by Maltese law, and the courts of Malta have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights.
